Aspen is a 9-week-old (DOB: 5/12/26) blue kitten with a gentle soul and so much potential. She is litter box trained, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on her age-appropriate vaccines.

Aspen and her littermates have come a long way since arriving in rescue, but she’s still learning that people can be trusted. The shyest of the bunch, Aspen prefers to watch from a safe distance. The big world can feel a little overwhelming to her, but every day she takes small steps forward.

With a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time, Aspen has the opportunity to truly blossom. She isn’t the type of kitten who will immediately run into your arms, but the quiet victories—accepting a treat from your hand, chasing a toy, or choosing to sit nearby—will make every bit of patience worthwhile.

Because she’s still building her confidence, Aspen must be adopted with one of her littermates or into a home with a confident, friendly feline who can help show her that the world isn’t such a scary place. Aspen requires a home without small children. 

Aspen is available for adoption in the Louisville or Cincinnati area only, as she will need to return to one of our partner veterinary clinics to be spayed.
