This handsome 2 year old was found wandering the streets, oblivious to the small bullet we found still lodged in his rib cage. RugerĀ ate anything he could just to survive, including some non-food items like rocks! He is still taking Pepcid for his sensitive tummy.
Ruger crates well and is house trained. He enjoys riding in the car. While he gets along with other dogs, he’s a dominant male so he’s choosy about the dogs he plays well with. He loves people but has not been tested around children, so no small kids please.
Ruger loves to play outside, but he’ll need a tall, physical fence. He breaks through the invisible fence and loves to chase moving object. He has a very high prey drive, so you won’t have to worry about any cats or small animals hanging out in your yard. Ruger will do well with consistent training to reach his full potential.
Ruger is ready to find his forever family and a place to call home. Is it yours? Apply online today!

Doberman Underground is a Volunteer based rescue. We do not have a facility, our dogs are fostered in loving homes in Ohio and surrounding states. Fostering allows us to better know the dog and match them to the perfect family.
