Cedar is a 9-week-old (DOB: 5/12/26) orange tabby with the cutest face and plenty of potential. He is litter box trained, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on his age-appropriate vaccines.

Cedar and his littermates have come a long way since arriving in rescue, but they’re still learning that people can be trusted. If you’ve heard the saying “hisses get kisses,” Cedar is living proof. He may greet new things with a little sass at first, but with patience, consistency, and love, he’s sure to continue blossoming.

One thing Cedar already knows he loves? Toys! Wand toys, balls, and anything he can chase help bring out his playful side and are a great way to build his confidence and earn his trust. Watching him forget his worries and just be a kitten is incredibly rewarding.

Because he’s still building his confidence, Cedar must be adopted with one of his littermates or into a home with a confident, friendly feline who can help show him the ropes.

Cedar is available for adoption in the Louisville or Cincinnati area only, as he will need to return to one of our partner veterinary clinics to be neutered.
