Fern is a beautiful 9-week-old (DOB 5/12/26) lynx point kitten with striking blue eyes and a sassy spirit. She is litter box trained, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on her age-appropriate vaccines.

Fern and her littermates have come a long way since arriving in rescue, but she’s still learning that people can be trusted. If you’ve heard the saying “hisses get kisses,” Fern fits the bill perfectly. She will be a little spicy when she’s unsure, but with patience, kindness, and consistency, she’s making wonderful progress every day.

One thing that helps bring Fern out of her shell is playtime! Wand toys and interactive games help build her confidence while creating positive experiences with people. It’s been so rewarding to watch her curiosity slowly outweigh her fear.

Because she’s still gaining confidence, Fern must be adopted with one of her littermates or into a home with a confident, friendly feline who can help show her that the world isn’t so scary.

Fern is available for adoption in the Louisville or Cincinnati area only, as she will need to return to one of our partner veterinary clinics to be spayed.
